We were officially formed on July 18, 2001. Our meetings are open to all and are the third Wednesday of each month, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at county party headquarters, 8745 W. 14th Ave, Suite 110 in Lakewood. Refreshments are provided.

Our Mission Statement:

1. Support the Jefferson County Democratic Party and its candidates.

2. Provide a forum in which gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender citizens and supporters may gather and discuss issues and advise the county Party on matters of interest to the GLBT community.

3. Interview candidates for public office and provide educational instruction on issues relative to GLBT issues that are impacted by municipal, county, state, and federal legislation.

4. Advocate on issues of importance to the GLBT community. (added 2/2005)

5. Complement the work of the Colorado Stonewall Democrats, an officially recognized Initiative of the Colorado State Democratic Party. 

Use our Yahoo site for posting messages, checking our calendar, getting email notifications, etc. The moderators of this group will approve all members' subscription requests in order to help assure confidentiality. Message posting is also moderated. We try to limit our listserve to state and local political topics relevant to GLBT issues.
